MUST HAVE EXPEREINCE IN DESIGN UP TO 230kv
Ideal candidates for this position will have successfully completed an Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Degree and have 5 - 7 years experience in power transformer design. Membership in an accredited professional engineering association would be an asset. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
The Power Design Engineer's primary responsibilities are to provide sound technical guidance and timely, accurate preparation of the most economical power transformer designs. The designs must ensure product quality, reliability and meet company's delivery commitments. This will be done in accordance with company's Procedures and Quality Management System, production capabilities, customer specifications, material availability, and governing laws and standards. The position provides a service to Plant Operations and is to be performed in cooperation with all personnel.
To be successful in this position you must show competence in teamwork, time management, detail orientation and problem solving.
